Read moreOur church and parish belongs to Serbian Orthodox Church Metropolitanate of Australia and New Zealand. It is located in the northern suburb of Brunswick, 6km from the Melbourne CBD. There is a Tram 96 Stop next to the church entrance (refer to the map below).
Our liturgical services are held in Serbian and Church-Slavonic. Baptisms, weddings and funerals can be conducted in English on request.
Our Serbian language school is government accredited and is continuously running since 1990s. Serbian language, Cyrillic script, religious education, history and culture are taught to various age groups.
The church choir maintains the Serbian traditional Orthodox chant by Mokranjac and other composers. The vocal consort “Krune” is also available to sing on weddings and baptisms.
Our sisters prepare agapes (Love Feasts) and Church Slava catering, keep the parish hall and the church clean, and beautify the services with floral arrangements. Help is always welcome!
