Mina's comic book about St Sava

blog-image

Mina Cvetanovic, a talented Year 5 student of a Belgrade primary school, has created a short comic book that effectively portrays the importance of St Sava to our Serbian identity, especially to us living outside Serbia.

The story follows family members who have chosen different paths in life - a brother who emigrated to New York, a sister staying in Belgrade and a brother becoming a monk in Hilandar monastery - but who all remain faithful to the covenant passed to us by our ancestors: to remain in our Orthodox faith and preserve our Serbian identity, wherever we are.

Dear Mina, thank you for your contribution inspiring us to stay on St Sava path!
