On the Feast of Theophany (19 January), together with St Stephen Keysborough parish, we traditionally organised the swim event for the Holy Cross.
First, the service of Great Blessing of the waters service was served by Fr Petar Damnjanovic where the prayers for the consecration of the all the waters, rivers and sea for the city of Melbourne were offered, by the glory of the Baptism of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Following the service, the kids race was conducted first, followed by the adult swim for the Holy Cross. We congratulate this year’s winner Milos Milojevic, wishing him God’s grace and protection.
