  • Quality education with a focus on preserving the Serbian language, culture, and Orthodox values.
  • Programs for children aged 4 to 18.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide children with high-quality education, inspiring them to respect and cherish the Serbian language, culture, and Orthodox values while fostering their sense of responsibility and respect for others.

Our vision is to be a center of learning where tradition and modern education unite to shape academically and spiritually fulfilled individuals.

History

The Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox School was established in 1970 with the mission to preserve the Serbian language, culture, and Orthodox faith among generations of Serbian-origin children living in Australia. Located in the heart of Melbourne’s Serbian community, the school provides an education that combines academic standards with spiritual values.

The school was founded through the efforts and dedication of the local Serbian community and the Serbian Orthodox Church. It draws inspiration from the tradition of Saint Sava, the first Serbian Archbishop, educator, and patron of schools. His vision of education nurturing spiritual and intellectual growth remains the foundation of our work.

Development

Over the years, the school has grown in both student numbers and the quality of teaching and extracurricular programs. With a strong emphasis on education, children develop a love for the Serbian language and culture while receiving an education aligned with Australian standards.

We are proud to announce that the school has been accredited to provide four-year preschool education starting in 2024. This program expansion allows younger children, aged 4, to participate in a rich Serbian language and culture program from an early age, preparing them for their educational journey.

The Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox School is a place where children not only gain knowledge but also actively participate in preserving and passing on our cultural and spiritual heritage to future generations.

The school is closely connected to the Serbian Orthodox Church and the local community, creating a warm and supportive environment for all families seeking education filled with spirituality and tradition.
